Every car we import leaves on UK plates: white at the front, yellow at the back, in the same typeface whichever flag it started under.
An age-related number
The two digits show when a car was registered: 76 covers September 2026 to February 2027. An import gets a number matched to its manufacture or first-registration date, or a Q plate if its age can't be proven.
An optional flag badge
The side badge can show the Union flag, the Cross of St George, the Saltire or the Red Dragon of Wales, with UK, GB, ENG, SCO, CYM or WAL underneath. Only the Union flag with UK works abroad without a separate sticker.
Three steps before they go on
Customs clearance (a NOVA notification within 14 days of arrival), any IVA or MSVA test the car needs, then DVLA registration. We handle all three from our test centre in Castle Donington. Get a quote
